Karen Hatch is the new owner of Penko & Associates Speech Services and is a provincially registered speech-language pathologist (CASLPM). Karen Hatch received her Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Alberta, Edmonton Alberta. Karen has experience working in private practice and the public education system in Winnipeg. Karen is a neuro-affirming practitioner who has extensive knowledge and experience working with specific language delays and disorders, Late Talkers, Autism Spectrum Disorder, cognitive and developmental delays, Assistive and Alternative Communication (AAC), as well as articulation, phonology, and motor speech disorders. Karen recently completed her DIR Floortime Basic Certification - a intervention program directed towards children on the autism spectrum. She is skilled in working with children whose families have a diverse background.
